Job DescriptionChiplogic Technologies is looking for an experienced Lead SoC Verification Engineer to lead the verification of complex, next-generation SoC designs. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SoC-level verification, verification architecture, test planning, debugging, coverage closure and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end verification activities for complex SoC projects.
- Define verification strategies, test plans, coverage plans and execution schedules.
- Develop and maintain reusable SystemVerilog/UVM-based verification environments.
- Verify SoC functionality, including processor subsystems, memory, interconnects, peripherals and integrated IP blocks.
- Develop SoC-level test cases using SystemVerilog, C and C++.
- Perform subsystem and SoC integration verification.
- Verify boot sequences, reset flows, clocking, power-management scenarios, interrupts and low-power features.
- Develop assertions, checkers, scoreboards, reference models and functional coverage.
- Drive simulation, regression, coverage analysis and verification closure.
- Debug complex RTL, testbench, firmware and system-level failures.
- Collaborate closely with RTL design, architecture, firmware, validation and physical-design teams.
- Review verification plans, testbench architecture,



code and coverage reports.
- Identify project risks, track verification progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Mentor verification engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Coordinate with cross-functional and geographically distributed engineering teams.
- Support verification sign-off and ensure high-quality deliverables within committed timelines.

Required Skills
- 10+ years of semiconductor design-verification experience, with strong hands-on SoC verification expertise.
- Advanced knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Strong experience in SoC-level testbench development and verification.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for processor-based or firmware-driven verification.
- Experience with ARM, RISC-V or similar processor architectures.
- Valuable understanding of SoC architecture, IP integration and subsystem verification.
- Experience with protocols such as AMBA AXI, AHB and APB.
- Strong knowledge of functional coverage, code coverage, assertions and coverage closure.
- Experience in low-power verification, including UPF-based verification.
- Strong debugging skills using industry-standard simulation and waveform-debugging tools.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, TCL or Shell.
- Familiarity with version-control systems and regression-management tools.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in automotive or safety-critical SoC verification.
- Exposure to PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB, MIPI or other high-speed interfaces.
- Knowledge of formal verification, emulation or hardware-acceleration platforms.
- Familiarity with performance verification and post-silicon validation.
- Experience leading distributed verification teams and handling customer interactions.
