Company Description The Language SKOOL (TLS) is an established online language training organization in India with over 16 years of experience supporting learners in achieving their education, career, travel, and global goals. TLS specializes in German, French, Spanish, and Japanese, offering structured online programs for beginners, students, working professionals, and travelers.

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Japanese Trainer (JLPT N2) at The Language SKOOL with 6 to 15 Years of experience. The trainer will conduct live online classes for learners at various levels, focusing on reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills aligned with JLPT standards. Day-to-day tasks include planning lessons, preparing teaching materials, assigning and reviewing exercises, and providing constructive feedback to support learner progress.

The trainer will also guide students in exam strategies for JLPT N5–N2, track performance, and maintain class records. Collaborating with the academic team to refine curriculum, participating in periodic training,



and engaging with learners through interactive activities and assessments are also part of the role.

Qualifications

- Strong Japanese language proficiency, ideally JLPT N2 or higher, with clear communication skills in Japanese and English.
- Experience teaching Japanese online or in classrooms, including lesson planning, learner assessment, and exam preparation support.
- Comfort with digital tools and online teaching platforms, including video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and learning management systems.
- Ability to teach diverse learner groups (students, professionals, beginners) with patience, cultural sensitivity, and learner-centered methods.
- Bachelor’s degree in languages, education, or a related field; formal training or certification in language teaching is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in managing schedules, and the ability to work independently in a remote workplace.
- Prior experience preparing learners for JLPT or other international language exams is highly desirable.
