Company Description Studio Suba is a multidisciplinary design practice working across architecture, interior, furniture, and product design. Founded by architects Sagar Karanje and Madhuja Badgujar, the studio focuses on creating thoughtful, experience-driven spaces. The name Suba reflects a philosophy that combines “sublime” experiences with the grounded strength of a “banyan tree.” This approach guides the studio’s design journey, emphasizing both aesthetic impact and depth of meaning.

Role Description This full-time, role is based in the Pune Division and is suitable for an intern, junior architect, or interior designer. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, developing architectural and interior design concepts, and preparing construction and presentation drawings, site visits. The role involves supporting FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, creating mood boards, and helping with material and product research.

The team member will collaborate with senior designers on design development,



coordinate with vendors as needed, and help maintain project documentation and drawings. The position offers hands-on experience across multiple design disciplines and exposure to the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Architecture and Interior Design, with the ability to contribute to concept development and design detailing.
- Skills in Space Planning and FF&E; selection, with an eye for functionality, aesthetics, and user experience.
- Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings and presentation drawings using relevant design and CAD software.
- Relevant academic background in Architecture, Interior Design, or a closely related field (student or recent graduate welcome).
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar, and basic knowledge of visualization/graphic software.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a studio setting.
- Interest in multidisciplinary design, materials research, and contemporary design trends.
