Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Sales Executive role based in Hyderabad. The Interior Sales Executive will handle walk-in, referred, and generated leads, understand clients’ lifestyle, functional requirements, design preferences, and budgets, and recommend suitable interior solutions, finishes, and accessories.

The role involves developing design concepts, presenting product options, preparing customized quotations, and coordinating with design, production, and execution teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders. The individual will be responsible for sales follow-ups, negotiations, deal closures, client relationship management, and post-sales support. The role will also involve maintaining showroom displays, updating sales records, and actively contributing to local marketing, networking, and lead-generation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Meet and engage with prospective clients and showroom walk-in customers to understand their functional requirements, design preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget.
- Design and present luxury kitchens, wardrobes, and complete interior solutions for residential, commercial, hospitality, corporate, and retail spaces.
- Prepare customized 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D concepts in SketchUp based on client requirements.
- Develop practical space planning, furniture layouts, and design concepts that balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget.
- Recommend suitable materials, finishes, hardware, lighting, and colour palettes to complement the overall design.
- Present design concepts, BOQs, quotations, and product proposals to clients and drive the sales process through to closure.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and coordinate site measurements as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, PMC consultants, and channel partners.
- Generate new business through field visits, networking, referrals, architect and designer outreach, and other business development activities.




- Coordinate closely with design, production, procurement, and execution teams to ensure smooth and accurate project delivery.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and existing enquiries to convert leads into confirmed orders.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, and sales activities.
- Ensure showroom displays and product presentations are maintained to a high standard.
- Support local marketing initiatives, exhibitions, networking events, and other lead-generation activities.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in interior design and sales.
- Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Strong understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, hardware, and construction details.
- Experience designing luxury residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, office, and other interior environments.
- Proven ability to handle walk-in customers, client consultations, sales presentations, negotiations, and closures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to understand requirements and provide customized design solutions.
- Strong sales and business development orientation with the ability to achieve targets.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and business development activities within Hyderabad.
