About LeBlanc Interior

- LeBlanc Interior is a premium residential interior design and execution company based in Chennai. We specialize primarily in high-quality residential interior projects, including apartments, villas, and individual homes. - We are looking for a hands-on Interior Designer with strong practical knowledge of residential interior design, excellent SketchUp and Enscape skills, and the ability to take a design from concept to execution. - This role is suitable for designers who are confident in creating complete residential interior designs and can produce high-quality 3D models and realistic visualizations independently.

Key ResponsibilitiesResidential Interior Design

- Design complete residential interiors based on client requirements, site conditions, functionality, and budget. - Develop space planning, furniture layouts, concepts, mood boards, colour schemes, material selections, and design details. - Create practical and aesthetically strong designs for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, dining areas, pooja rooms, wardrobes, TV units, and other residential spaces. - Understand proportions, ergonomics, lighting, materials, finishes, furniture, and interior detailing. - Convert design concepts into practical designs that can be executed on site.

SketchUp & Enscape

- Create detailed and accurate 3D interior models using SketchUp. - Produce realistic interior visualizations and walkthroughs using Enscape. - Independently develop rooms and complete homes in SketchUp. - Apply materials, lighting, textures, furniture, and design elements accurately. - Present design concepts and 3D views clearly to clients and the internal team. - Make design revisions based on client requirements and project constraints.

Drawings & Documentation

- Prepare layouts, furniture plans, elevations, sections,



and detailed drawings required for execution. - Ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and coordinated with the 3D design. - Maintain proper design documentation throughout the project.

Site & Execution Coordination

- Visit project sites when required and understand actual site conditions. - Coordinate with the execution/site team to ensure the approved design is implemented correctly. - Identify design or site-related issues and provide practical solutions. - Understand basic construction methods, carpentry, modular furniture, electrical points, false ceiling, flooring, finishes, and other interior execution requirements.

Client & Team Coordination

- Participate in client presentations and design discussions. - Understand client requirements and convert them into practical design solutions. - Coordinate with the design, execution, and project teams. - Take ownership of assigned design deliverables and complete them within deadlines.

Mandatory Requirements

- Strong practical knowledge of residential interior designing. - Strong proficiency in SketchUp – Mandatory. - Solid proficiency in Enscape – Mandatory. - Ability to independently create complete residential interiors in SketchUp. - Ability to produce realistic Enscape renders and presentations. - Good knowledge of space planning, furniture layouts, materials, colours, lighting, and interior detailing. - Practical understanding of residential interior execution and construction. - Ability to read and prepare interior drawings. - Good design sense and attention to detail. - Relevant professional experience in residential interior design.

Work Location & Joining Requirements





- This is a 100% Work From Office position. - Work From Home / Remote work is not available. - The candidate must be willing to work from our office in Chennai. - Candidates from outside Chennai must be willing to relocate to Chennai immediately. - Immediate joining is strongly preferred. - Candidates serving long notice periods may not be suitable for this position.

Experience

- Preferred experience: 1–4 years in residential interior design. - Candidates with strong practical residential interior design experience and excellent SketchUp + Enscape skills will be preferred.

Education

- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a robust understanding of residential interiors, not just software. - Can take a room from concept → space planning → SketchUp → Enscape → presentation → execution. - Has a good understanding of real-world materials and construction. - Can work independently and take ownership of design responsibilities. - Has a strong eye for proportion, aesthetics, functionality, and detailing. - Is willing to learn, improve, and work closely with the execution team. - Can handle multiple residential projects and meet deadlines.

Important – Before Applying

SketchUp and Enscape proficiency is mandatory for this position.
