Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Design Specialist role based in Gurgaon.

The Interior Design

Specialist will design and plan indoor and outdoor living areas, including balconies, terraces, gardens, and rooftop spaces, ensuring they are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with EcoLiving’s green living vision. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting furniture and FF&E;, preparing design concepts and mood boards, and coordinating with landscape designers, vendors, and installation teams.



The role involves meeting clients to understand their lifestyle and preferences, translating requirements into detailed design proposals, and overseeing execution to maintain quality and consistency with approved designs.

The Interior Design

Specialist will also collaborate on visualizations, support upgrades to existing projects, and ensure designs are sustainable, secure, and compliant with company standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional, balanced, and aesthetically coherent layouts.
- Candidates should demonstrate expertise in Furniture selection and FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) to curate cohesive and durable interiors and outdoor living spaces.
- Candidates should have effective Communication skills to collaborate with clients, cross-functional teams, and vendors and to present design concepts clearly.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is beneficial.
- 5 - 10 yrs of experience in residential or outdoor living projects, familiarity with sustainable materials, and proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools) are advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, project coordination abilities, and a portfolio demonstrating creative, user-centric design work are preferred.
