Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an Insurance Advisor at ICICI Lombard.

The Insurance

Advisor will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their coverage needs and recommend suitable general insurance products.

Responsibilities include explaining policy features and terms in clear language, assisting customers with quotes and applications, and guiding them through policy issuance and renewals. The role also involves providing support on claims-related queries,



maintaining accurate records of interactions, and following up to ensure a positive customer experience. Advisors are expected to use digital tools and company platforms to manage customer interactions, stay updated on product changes, and adhere to regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance products and basic Finance concepts relevant to general insurance advisory.
- Candidates should possess Consulting and advisory skills to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service abilities to handle queries, resolve concerns, and support customers throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Candidates should possess explicit and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex information simply.
- Relevant experience in insurance sales, financial services, or customer-facing roles is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and use digital tools and CRM systems.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the insurance sector is an added advantage.
- Graduate degree in any discipline; coursework or certification in insurance or finance is preferred but not mandatory.
