Role Description The Insurance Advisor at LIC is a full-time, on-site role based in Preet Vihar.

The Insurance

Advisor will meet and interact with prospective and existing clients, understand their financial goals, and recommend suitable life insurance products and solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, explaining policy features and benefits, preparing proposals, and assisting customers through the application and documentation process. The role also involves maintaining ongoing relationships with policyholders, providing after-sales service, handling queries, and supporting claim-related interactions.





The Insurance

Advisor will engage in regular outreach and follow-ups to build a client base, stay updated on LIC products and guidelines, and meet sales and service targets in a professional and ethical manner.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Insurance and Finance skills, with an understanding of life insurance products, risk management, and basic financial planning concepts.
- Candidates should possess solid Consulting and Customer Service skills, including the ability to assess client needs, provide tailored advice, and deliver reliable, empathetic support.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with clear spoken and written abilities in relevant local languages and English, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build long-term client relationships, work towards defined targets, and maintain high levels of integrity and professional ethics.
- Comfort with fieldwork and in-person meetings in the Preet Vihar area, along with basic computer literacy for handling digital forms and records.
- Prior experience in insurance, banking, finance, or sales is beneficial but not mandatory; relevant training or certification in insurance advisory is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in commerce, business, finance, or related fields is preferred.
