Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a full time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for supporting and enhancing all HR functions within Hashtag Event Organisers. This role includes managing recruitment processes, coordinating interviews, and assisting with onboarding to ensure new team members are integrated smoothly. The specialist will maintain employee records, administer benefits, support performance management activities, and help implement HR policies and procedures.

Day-to-day responsibilities also involve handling employee queries, supporting conflict resolution, and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture. The role collaborates closely with management and team leads to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements and the company’s values.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills for day-to-day HR operations and strategic support.




- Candidates should possess knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Benefits to design, implement, and communicate compliant and competitive programs.
- Candidates should possess Personnel Management skills to support employee relations, performance discussions, and workforce coordination.
- Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Candidates should have strong organizational and documentation abilities, with attention to detail and proficiency in basic HR software or HRIS tools.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with prior experience in HR or event/creative industries, is beneficial.
