Role Description The Human Resources Manager will oversee the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding for Portl’s Hyderabad office. This full-time, on-site role will involve partnering with leadership to forecast hiring needs, refine organizational structures, and support workforce planning.

The Human Resources

Manager will design and implement HR policies, maintain compliance with labor laws, manage HR documentation, and ensure consistent application of HR processes. They will drive initiatives related to learning and development, engagement, rewards and recognition,



and culture-building in line with Portl’s mission and values. The role will also involve handling conflict resolution, conducting investigations when needed, and acting as a trusted point of contact for employees on HR-related matters.

Qualifications

- Strong experience (10+ Years) in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Skills in HR policy development, compliance with local labor laws, and maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.
- Ability to design and implement training, learning and development programs, and initiatives that support employee growth.
- Competence in conflict resolution, coaching managers, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Experience with HR information systems (HRIS), data-driven decision-making, and basic HR analytics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Previous experience as an HR Manager or in a similar senior HR role, preferably in a tech or startup setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
