About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised HR Generalist – Fresher to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career across different areas of Human Resources. You will gain hands-on exposure to the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, performance management, Learning & Development (L&D;), and offboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Hiring
Assist with posting job openings across relevant platforms.
Screen resumes based on job requirements.
Coordinate with candidates for interviews and follow-ups.
Schedule interviews with hiring managers and relevant stakeholders.
Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Support offer documentation and pre-joining formalities.
- Onboarding
Assist with the onboarding of new employees.
Collect and maintain employee joining documents.
Support HR induction and orientation sessions.
Help new employees understand company policies and processes.
Coordinate with different teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Maintain onboarding checklists and employee records.
- HR Operations & Administration
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Assist with attendance and leave tracking.
Prepare and organise HR letters and documents.
Update employee information and HR trackers.
Support the maintenance of employee files and databases.
Assist with day-to-day HR queries and requests.
- Employee Engagement & Relations
Act as a friendly point of contact for basic employee queries.
Support employee engagement and culture initiatives.
Assist in organising team activities, celebrations, and employee initiatives.
Collect employee feedback when required.
Support the HR team in maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
Escalate employee concerns to the appropriate person when necessary.
- Performance Management
Assist in coordinating probation and performance review processes.
Follow up with employees and managers regarding review timelines.
Maintain performance-related trackers and documentation.
Support the HR team with documentation for performance discussions and improvement plans.
Help ensure timely completion of performance-related activities.
- Learning & Development (L&D;)
Assist in identifying training and development needs through employee and manager feedback.
Coordinate internal training sessions and learning initiatives.
Maintain an L&D; calendar and training tracker.
Coordinate with employees regarding training schedules and participation.
Assist in preparing training materials, presentations, or resources.
Track training attendance and completion.
Collect feedback after training sessions.
Support initiatives that encourage continuous learning and employee development.
- Payroll & Benefits Support
Assist in maintaining attendance and leave records required for payroll.
Coordinate employee information and required documentation with relevant teams.
Support employees with basic payroll or benefits-related queries.
Maintain records related to employee benefits and insurance.
- Policies & HR Documentation
Assist in communicating HR policies and processes to employees.
Maintain records of policy acknowledgements and HR documentation.
Support the HR team in updating policies and internal documents.
Ensure employee records and documents are properly organised and maintained.
Maintain confidentiality while handling employee information.
- Offboarding
Assist with employee exit processes.
Coordinate exit documentation and clearance requirements.
Support the scheduling of exit interviews.
Maintain records related to employee departures.
Coordinate with relevant teams regarding exit formalities.
What We Are Looking For
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year of experience are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valuable organisational and coordination skills.
- Comfortable speaking with candidates and employees.
- Good written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of HR functions and the employee lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
