About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to manage the complete HR operations of our Honda two-wheeler dealership in Chennai.

The candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee management, attendance, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, performance management and employee engagement across the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition for Sales, Service, Parts and support functions.
- Handle employee onboarding, induction and documentation.
- Manage employee attendance, leave and personnel records.
- Coordinate payroll and salary processing, including EPF, ESI and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace issues.
- Coordinate employee performance appraisals and evaluations.
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs and processes.




- Support management with manpower planning and workforce requirements.
- Monitor employee retention, turnover and attrition.
- Coordinate training and development programs for employees.
- Manage employee engagement and welfare activities.
- Ensure proper joining, transfer, promotion and exit formalities.
- Maintain statutory registers, HR records and documentation required for audits.
- Prepare regular HR MIS reports covering manpower, attendance, recruitment, attrition and employee performance.
- Work closely with Sales, Service, Parts and Administration teams for HR-related requirements.
- Ensure proper implementation of company HR policies and management directives.
- Maintain employee discipline and promote a positive and qualified workplace environment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Provide regular HR updates and reports to management.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in the automobile dealership or retail industry.
- Experience handling Sales and Service dealership employees will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, payroll coordination, attendance and statutory compliance.
- Good knowledge of EPF, ESI and labour law compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel, HRMS/DMS and HR reporting systems.
- Strong employee-handling and problem-solving skills.
- Should be proactive, organized and capable of independently managing HR operations.
- Automobile dealership HR experience will be an added advantage.
- Candidate should be willing to work on-site in Chennai.
