Professional Profile An experienced and highly responsible Store In-Charge with 12-15 years of experience in managing Raw Materials, Spare Parts and Packaging Materials stores in the Tiles or Sanitary Ceramics manufacturing industry or Retail products manufacturers. Capable of maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring uninterrupted material availability for production, and implementing effective store management and inventory control systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Overall management of Raw Materials, Spares and Packaging Materials Stores.
- Ensure proper receipt, inspection, storage, preservation and issue of materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records in inventory management systems.
- Verify materials received against Purchase Orders, invoices, delivery challans and specifications.
- Ensure timely issues of raw materials and packaging materials, Spares Parts as per respective requirements.
- Maintain adequate stock of critical and essential spare parts to avoid machine and production downtime and update time to time to respective HOD’s.
- Monitor minimum, maximum and reorder levels of all inventory items and generate Indent/Requisition to Purchase Department and coordinate.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and cycle counting (Perpetual Inventory) and reconcile stock differences and ensure that 100% A&B; class inventories match with system inventory.
- Maintain High levels of discipline and Control and monitor slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete and excess inventory.
- Implement proper FIFO/FEFO principles, wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper material identification, labeling and bin/location management.




- Coordinate with Purchase, PPC, Production, Maintenance, Quality and Finance departments and ensure that timely issues materials issues to avoid any downtime.
- Ensure proper preservation and storage of critical mechanical, electrical and maintenance spares.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly MIS and inventory reports and circulate to respective Hod’s.
- Monitor material consumption and highlight abnormal or excess usage to respective HOD & Management.
- Control material losses, damages, shortages and pilferage.
- Ensure proper management and timely return of rejected, damaged and surplus materials and Scrap Disposals.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, 5S and safety in the stores maintain compliance as per SA 8000 & ISO 9000, ISO 14000 & ISO 45000.
- Lead and supervise the Stores team and ensure to maintain high levels of discipline and efficiency and timely materials issues with proper issue slip and update/post in inventory management system on same day.

Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of inventory control and store operations.
- Experience in Tiles / Sanitary-ware / Ceramics manufacturing Industry is preferable. Or Chemical and Process Manufacturing Industry.
- Knowledge of ERP/SAP and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GRN, material issue, stock transfer and stock reconciliation.
- Knowledge of spare parts identification and preservation.
- Experience in managing a large volume of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials and Maintenance Spares.
- Valuable coordination, leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving abilities.
