Role Description The Head of Production is a full-time, on-site position based in Palwal, responsible for overseeing all production activities within the metal recycling facility. The role includes planning daily and weekly production schedules, monitoring workflows, and ensuring throughput meets quality, safety, and environmental standards. This position leads and mentors production teams, coordinates with operations, maintenance, and procurement to minimize downtime, and manages resource allocation across shifts.

The Head of Production tracks production metrics, optimizes processes, controls budgets,



and reports performance to senior management while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to oversee scheduling, capacity utilization, and output quality.
- Proficiency in Operations Management to optimize processes, ensure compliance, and coordinate cross-functional activities.
- Proven Team Management abilities to lead, train, and motivate production staff and promote a secure, inclusive work culture.
- Experience in Budgeting to manage production costs, monitor resource usage, and support financial planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or metal recycling production leadership, preferably in a plant or factory environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality management systems relevant to industrial operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions under time constraints.
