About the Role

Craft & Glory is looking for an experienced Head of Operations to lead and scale our end-to-end manufacturing and operational ecosystem.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role overseeing production, procurement, inventory, warehousing, vendor management, costing, planning, quality control and dispatch across our footwear, leather goods and apparel categories.

We are looking for someone who can bring structure to a growing manufacturing business — building systems, improving efficiency, strengthening planning and taking complete ownership of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end production and workshop operations across footwear, leather goods and apparel.

Build and manage production plans, capacity forecasts and manpower requirements.

Own raw-material planning, procurement and inventory management to prevent stock-outs and production delays.

Develop inventory forecasting systems based on sales trends, seasonality, launches and anticipated demand.

Manage and develop vendors, negotiate commercial terms and build alternate supplier networks.

Establish accurate product costing and COGS frameworks and identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and margins.

Build, implement and enforce SOPs across production, procurement, inventory, warehousing, quality control and dispatch.

Improve production lead times, workflow efficiency and operational accountability.

Oversee inventory accuracy, warehousing,



WIP and finished-goods management.

Build and strengthen quality-control processes and address recurring production or product-quality issues.

Lead, train and manage operational teams while building a strong culture of accountability and ownership.

Support the implementation of ERP, inventory, planning and operational reporting systems.

Establish reporting dashboards and operational KPIs for management visibility.

Work cross-functionally with Finance, Customer Experience, Product Development and Leadership.

- Drive the transition towards a ready-to-ship operating model, with the long-term objective of dispatching stocked SKUs within 24 hours of receiving an order.

What We’re Looking For

- 6–8 years of relevant experience, primarily in Production & Manufacturing Operations. Candidates with more than 8 years of total experience will not be considered. Experience in footwear, leather goods, apparel, accessories, consumer products or D2C is relevant.
- Strong hands-on experience in production planning, execution, capacity planning, manpower management, production targets, quality control and timely delivery.
- Proven experience managing production teams, vendors, procurement,



raw-material availability and inventory, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted production operations.
- Solid understanding of costing, wastage, productivity, margins, inventory control and operational efficiency, with the ability to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.
- Experience developing and implementing SOPs, production processes, systems and accountability mechanisms, along with strong analytical, problem-solving and people-management skills.
- Experience with ERP/MRP, inventory or production-planning systems is highly desirable. Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.

The Ideal Candidate

You are someone who enjoys building systems rather than simply maintaining them.

You can walk onto a production floor, understand where the bottlenecks are, work with teams and vendors to solve them, and then build processes that prevent the same problems from recurring.

You are equally comfortable discussing production output, raw-material requirements and vendor lead times as you are analyzing inventory, COGS, margins and operational KPIs.

Above all, you take ownership.
