About the Role

House of EdTech is looking for an execution-driven HR Operations Head to manage end-to-end HR operations for 3,000+ employees in a quick-paced, high-growth environment.

The role will own HR Operations, Payroll, Compliance, Employee Lifecycle, HRMS, Policies, MIS & Reporting, while leading a team of 10–20 HR professionals and working closely with the Founder’s Office.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and scale the HR Operations team
- Manage end-to-end payroll across multiple entities
- Oversee statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, PT, TDS & labour laws
- Drive onboarding, employee lifecycle, confirmations, promotions, transfers and exits
- Manage F&F;, salary revisions, incentives, deductions and arrears
- Handle employee grievances and employee relations
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs and processes
- Manage HRMS (Keka preferred) and ensure data accuracy
- Drive PMS, HR automation and process digitization
- Track HR metrics including headcount, attrition, payroll and compliance




- Create MIS, dashboards and reports for leadership
- Ensure audit-ready HR documentation and records

What We’re Looking For

- 7+ years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll & Compliance
- Experience managing HR operations for 1,000+ employees
- Strong expertise in Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Proven experience managing 10+ member teams
- Strong knowledge of Keka/HRMS and ATS platforms
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
- Strong process orientation and documentation skills
- Excellent stakeholder management, including working with founders
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- High ownership, attention to detail, integrity and confidentiality
