Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Head of Delivery to lead the development and deployment of our Offering In the digital space- MobiLytix Digital. This role encompasses end-to-end ownership of engineering, delivery, and professional services for the product, including P&L; responsibility. The successful candidate will ensure seamless collaboration across decentralized teams, including central support, project management, and testing teams, while driving innovation, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

- Oversee and guide teams working with React based front end and Node.js-based backends technologies.
- Promote best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native architecture for high availability and scalability.

Delivery Management

- Own the P&L; of professional services delivery, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
- Develop and execute robust delivery frameworks, ensuring decentralized teams operate cohesively.
- Collaborate with central support, project management, and testing teams to streamline delivery processes.
- Oversee implementation projects for clients, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to track delivery performance and customer satisfaction.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, central support teams, and decentralized project management and testing teams.
- Partner with sales and customer success teams to align product delivery with client expectations.




- Coordinate with product management to prioritize and execute on feature roadmaps aligned with customer and market needs.

P&L; Responsibility

- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and cost optimization strategies for professional services delivery.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project profitability and client satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.

Leadership & Talent Development

- Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers, project managers, and delivery professionals.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth.
- Mentor and develop leaders within the team to scale organizational capabilities.

Qualifications

- Experience: 12+ years in software engineering and professional services delivery, with 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing engineering and P&L.;
- Technical Expertise: Proven expertise in Java, Node.js, React, and cloud-native architectures
- Delivery Expertise: Strong experience in professional services delivery, project management, and decentralized team operations.
- Financial Acumen: Experience managing P&L;, resource optimization, and cost management for service delivery.
- Collaboration Skills:



Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive alignment across distributed units.

Preferred Technical Skills

- Have worked in Mobile app/ digital space
- Strong expertise in Java-based backends, including microservices architecture and performance optimization.
- Advanced skills in React for frontend development, including state management libraries like Redux and responsive UI/UX design.
- Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, API design principles, and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure management (Azure/AWS preferred).
- Knowledge of deployment and monitoring tools for ensuring high-availability systems.
- Expertise in modern frontend frameworks and libraries like React and Next.js, along with tooling like Webpack and Babel.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and frontend performance optimization.
- Proven ability to design scalable, fault-tolerant systems with performance optimization.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and asynchronous programming patterns.
- Experience implementing security best practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDPR, SOC2, and ISO27001.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Solid focus on code quality, peer reviews, and fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
