Head of E-commerce

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven and commercially focused E-Commerce Head to lead and scale Suroskie Beauty’s online business across D2C, marketplaces, and Quick Commerce.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in D2C, skincare, beauty, cosmetics, FMCG, or consumer brands and should be capable of driving revenue, improving profitability, managing online channels, and building scalable e-commerce growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the overall e-commerce business, revenue, P&L;, and profitability across D2C, marketplaces, and Quick Commerce.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue, GMV, contribution margin, and growth targets.
- Lead the growth of the brand’s D2C website, marketplaces, and Quick Commerce channels.
- Manage and scale platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Myntra, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and other relevant platforms.
- Develop and execute Quick Commerce growth strategies, including assortment, visibility, promotions, pricing, availability, and platform performance.
- Drive customer acquisition, conversion, repeat purchases, AOV, retention, and LTV.
- Own the complete e-commerce funnel from traffic and product discovery to conversion and retention.
- Develop pricing, promotions, offers, bundles, and discount strategies while maintaining healthy margins.
- Monitor and optimize key metrics including GMV, revenue, conversion rate, CAC, ROAS, AOV, LTV, repeat rate, contribution margin, and profitability.
- Manage product assortment, catalog, merchandising, inventory availability, and online visibility across channels.
- Work closely with Performance Marketing, Content, Creative,



Influencer Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, and Customer Experience teams.
- Coordinate with marketplace and Quick Commerce partners to improve sales, visibility, assortment, availability, and promotional performance.
- Identify opportunities for new channels, products, categories, and growth initiatives.
- Build monthly, quarterly, and annual e-commerce growth plans and performance reports.
- Lead and mentor the e-commerce team and drive a high-performance, revenue-focused culture.

Requirements

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in E-Commerce, D2C, Digital Commerce, Marketplace, or Quick Commerce.
- Strong experience with D2C brands, preferably in Skincare, Beauty, Cosmetics, FMCG, or Lifestyle.
- Proven track record of scaling online revenue and managing e-commerce business performance.
- Hands-on experience managing D2C, Marketplace, and/or Quick Commerce channels.
- Robust understanding of Shopify and major marketplace/Quick Commerce platforms.
- Good understanding of e-commerce analytics, CRO, performance marketing, merchandising, and customer retention.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven business decisions.
- Experience managing teams and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Candidates from high-growth D2C, Beauty, Skincare, FMCG, or consumer brands will be preferred.
