The roleThis is a career-defining opportunity for an academically strong graduate to build deep expertise in RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) and systems engineering – disciplines at the heart of every modern railway. You will apply rigorous analytical techniques to real safety-critical systems from day one, supporting assurance and engineering management activities across our rail projects.

Typical activities include

- Hazard identification and analysis on new railway projects
- Failure mode analysis (FMEA/FMECA) of railway products and systems
- Reliability assessment of new railway products and systems
- Preparing, contributing to and reviewing RAM, safety, assurance and system requirements and integration documentation, including plans and reports
- Verification and Validation (V&V;)
- System requirements management and system integration

You will be trained in the professional tools of the discipline, including IBM DOORS, ComplyPro and Isograph Reliability Workbench (including Fault Tree+). No prior experience with these tools is expected – we will train you.

Depending on project needs, the role may involve periods based in client offices, giving you direct exposure to how major rail projects are delivered.

What we are looking forWe set a high academic bar because the work demands it – and because we invest heavily in the people we hire.

- A first class degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Civil engineering from a premier institution.
- An excellent academic record, particularly in Mathematics and Physics.
- Up to 1–2 years of experience in an engineering industry is welcome but not essential – this role is designed for graduates.
- Positive software skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
- The ability to work independently on set tasks, manage your own work through to conclusion, and contribute fully within a team.

LocationThe role is full-time, based at our Kochi office. Travel and deputation to client sites may be required within India and abroad. This is predominantly a desk-based job with occasional site visits.
