Company Description Cellumantra Biorefinery Pvt. Ltd. is a DPIIT-recognized green biotechnology startup developing an enzymatic biorefinery platform that converts non-wood agricultural waste into industrial enzymes and advanced biomaterials. The company focuses on revenue-first production of enzymes for sectors such as textiles and wastewater treatment, followed by high-margin cellulose nanofibers (CNF) for sustainable materials.

Its technology is specifically optimized for Indian biomass, enabling cost-efficient and scalable circular manufacturing. By leveraging local feedstocks, Cellumantra reduces farm-waste burning, lowers import dependency, and supports a more sustainable industrial ecosystem.

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for Global Project Finance Consultants / SBLC-BG Discounting / Monetizing Experts as Co-Founder. The role involves structuring and executing project finance solutions for large-scale biorefinery and enzyme production facilities, including the use of SBLCs, bank guarantees, and other credit instruments for discounting and monetization. The Co-Founder will identify global funding sources, build relationships with investors and financial institutions, and design capital structures that support rapid scaling of operations.

Daily responsibilities include financial modeling, risk assessment, documentation review, and coordination with legal and compliance partners to ensure secure, transparent transactions. The role also includes contributing to strategic decisions, aligning financial roadmaps with technology and market milestones, and representing the company in high-level funding discussions and negotiations.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Investments skills, including experience with project finance, SBLC/BG instruments, and capital structuring for growth-stage ventures.
- Candidates should possess Financial Planning and Retirement Planning skills, with the ability to design long-term, sustainable financial strategies for founders, investors, and key stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, including expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, risk assessment, and evaluation of complex funding structures.
- Relevant experience in global infrastructure or clean-tech financing, green or impact investing, and cross-border financial transactions is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with banking regulations, compliance requirements, and legal documentation for SBLC/BG monetization and discounting is preferred.
- Robust communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, multicultural environment.
- Background in finance, economics, business, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take co-founder responsibilities, including strategic decision-making and long-term value creation.
