Role Description: The GeM & E-Commerce Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for managing Irvine’s presence on Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and other e-commerce platforms. This role includes listing and maintaining product catalogs, optimizing content, monitoring pricing, and ensuring compliance with platform policies. The manager will handle daily operations such as tracking orders, coordinating fulfillment with internal teams, resolving customer queries, and maintaining service-level commitments.

They will analyze sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies for promotions, bids, and tenders on GeM and commercial marketplaces.



Collaboration with sales, logistics, finance, and customer support teams is essential to ensure smooth transactions and strong relationships with institutional and retail buyers.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Business Negotiation skills to manage bids, tenders, pricing, and contracts on GeM and e-commerce platforms.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, monitor performance metrics, and identify opportunities for growth and process improvement.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with buyers, resolve issues, and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess proven Sales skills to drive revenue, manage listings strategically, and achieve marketplace targets.
- Experience managing GeM portal operations or other B2B/B2C e-commerce marketplaces is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with technology products such as memory, storage, and related hardware is an advantage.
- Ability to work with spreadsheets, analytics tools, and marketplace dashboards to manage listings and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple listings and deadlines simultaneously.
