We’re currently developing BANISH 9 to 5, a PvP asymmetrical multiplayer game, and we’re looking for a Game Tester to join us on a contract/freelance basis.

Role Description:

As a Game Tester, you’ll help us ensure that our game is reliable, polished, and provides a great player experience. You’ll play development builds, execute test cases, identify and document bugs, verify fixes, and provide feedback directly to our development team.

This is a remote contract/freelance role, with approximately 2 hours of testing per session.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough testing of our game according to provided specifications and test cases.
- Communicate effectively with designers and developers via calls to discuss progress, issues, and feedback.
- Identify and report technical bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies encountered during testing.




- Provide feedback on gameplay mechanics, user experience, and overall game quality.
- Document and list bugs in a clear format, including steps to reproduce, using spreadsheets or other designated tools.

Requirements:

- Strong familiarity with playing and testing video games.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle issues and inconsistencies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to clearly document and communicate bugs and feedback.
- Ability to create, execute, and maintain structured test cases.
- Understanding of gameplay mechanics and player experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Availability to follow a schedule of 2 hours per testing session.
- Previous game testing/QA experience is highly beneficial, but not mandatory.
- A genuine passion for games and an interest in helping improve them.
- Students and candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in game QA are encouraged to apply.
