Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript - Build serverless applications using AWS Lambda - Implement API layers using AWS API Gateway - Design event‐driven workflows using AWS EventBridge - Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, IAM roles, HTTPS, rate limiting - Write unit and integration tests using Jest or Vitest - Optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability - Integrate services with CI/CD pipelines - Collaborate with cross‐functional teams in an Agile / Scrum workplace - Support production systems and handle incident resolution when required

Required Skills

- JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js - AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS EventBridge, API Security - API Security (OAuth, JWT, IAM, CORS, TLS) - Unit testing with Jest or Vitest - Event‐driven and microservices architecture - CI/CD and cloud‐native development - Agile / Scrum experience

Nice to Have

- Financial Services / Mortgage domain experience - Redis, Kafka, SQS/SNS - Docker / Kubernetes - Experience with high‐scale production systems
