About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer specializing in Node.js and React to join our agile team. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-performance, scalable systems designed to support millions of users worldwide. As a key member of our engineering community, you will be responsible for owning the development of end-to-end features, making critical architectural decisions, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, well-crafted software.

The role requires a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers. If you enjoy working across the stack, taking ownership of projects from conception to deployment, and applying best practices in engineering, this position is an ideal fit.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with demonstrated expertise in Node.js and React.



You should have hands-on experience designing and versioning REST or GraphQL APIs, along with a solid understanding of modern git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure. Strong system design instincts are essential, including data modeling, component architecture, and event-driven thinking.

Proficiency in relational databases and SQL, coupled with familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, is required. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills across distributed systems are critical, as is the ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. The role also demands the capacity to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Develop and ship production features end-to-end across Node.js backends and React frontends, taking ownership from implementation through to deployment.
- Design, build, and version REST or GraphQL APIs that serve as the contract between frontend and backend systems, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Make informed architecture decisions related to data modeling, service boundaries, and component design, incorporating event-driven principles where appropriate.
- Model and query data across relational and NoSQL databases, selecting the most suitable database and structure based on the use case.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code,



establishing observability mechanisms to monitor, debug, and troubleshoot live systems effectively.
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold engineering excellence.
