Full Stack Developer

Job Overview

We're hiring a Full Stack Developer to build and maintain the tools, pipelines and websites we ship every day. You'll own features end to end and work directly with senior engineers on the harder parts of the stack.

Strong logical reasoning matters more to us than the length of your tech stack list. We want someone who thinks clearly, takes a task through to done, and says plainly when they're stuck.

What You'll Do

Development

- Build and maintain features across our Python (FastAPI) backend and React/Next.js frontend.
- Design queries and write migrations against PostgreSQL/Supabase.
- Reproduce, diagnose and fix bugs - and confirm the fix actually holds.
- Write tests for what you build.

Problem Solving

- Break a vague problem into concrete steps before writing code.
- Debug by reasoning - read the error, form a hypothesis, test it. Don't guess and retry.
- Trace how data moves through a system and work out where it went wrong.
- Spot edge cases before they reach production.

Data & Automation

- Clean and prepare structured and unstructured datasets - CSVs, scraped content, API exports.
- Build and monitor automated pipelines; investigate failed runs.
- Build reports and dashboards for internal teams and clients.

AI Tools

- Use Claude Code,



Codex or Cursor as part of your normal workflow.
- Review what they produce before you ship it - you should be able to explain every line you commit.

Ownership

- Own your tasks end to end: understand the goal, ask questions early, deliver it finished.
- Communicate status honestly - flag blockers the same day, not at the deadline.
- Test your own work before handing it over.
- Take code review seriously and don't repeat the same feedback twice.

Requirements (Mandatory)

- 2–4 years of qualified full-stack development experience.
- Python - production experience, not tutorials.
- FastAPI - building and maintaining real REST APIs.
- React.js and Next.js - components, state, routing, App Router.
- Databases - strong SQL, schema design and migrations on PostgreSQL or equivalent.
- Cloud experience - deploying and running services in production (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable).
- Strong logical and analytical thinking - you'll be tested on it.
- Git, and a genuine testing habit.
- Clear written communication.
