Role Description The Freelance Camera Operator will work on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area in a full time capacity, capturing video content for marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and client projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and operating cameras, collaborating with directors and production teams to interpret creative briefs, and framing, focusing, and composing shots to meet project requirements. The role involves coordinating with lighting and sound personnel, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and prepared before shoots, and adapting to different locations and shooting conditions.

The Camera

Operator will also support basic on-set troubleshooting,



review footage for technical quality, and provide input to the video production team to help achieve the desired visual style.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Camera Operation skills, including proficiency with various Camera types and familiarity with industry-standard equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Lighting setup and adjustment to achieve consistent, high-quality visual results in diverse environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production, including shot planning, basic cinematography principles, and working within structured production workflows.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of TV Production or similar broadcast environments, including coordination with multi-camera setups and live or studio shoots.
- Relevant experience in commercial, corporate, or promotional video shoots, preferably within creative or marketing-focused projects.
- Ability to work on-site, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional creative and technical teams.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to safety and accessibility guidelines on set.
- Formal training or coursework in film, media, or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating camera work is highly desirable.
