About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven, sharp, and execution-oriented Founder’s Office Executive to work closely with the Founder.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of strategy, business operations, research, communication, and execution. The person will work directly with the Founder across multiple businesses and will be exposed to strategic decisions, new initiatives, business opportunities, partnerships, internal operations, and special projects.

The ideal candidate is someone who can think independently, structure ambiguity, get things done, and operate with a strong sense of ownership.

This is not a traditional administrative role. We are looking for someone who can act as an extension of the Founder’s office and help convert ideas and priorities into measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Founder’s Office & Strategic Execution

- Work closely with the Founder on key strategic and operational priorities.
- Convert the Founder’s ideas, discussions, and priorities into structured action plans.
- Track important initiatives, deadlines, decisions, and follow-ups to ensure timely execution.
- Prepare briefs, presentations, reports, trackers, and business updates for the Founder.
- Identify bottlenecks and proactively follow up with relevant stakeholders to drive closure.
- Support the Founder in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

2. Business Research & Analysis

- Conduct structured research on markets, industries, competitors, customers, emerging trends, and business opportunities.
- Analyse information and convert it into concise, actionable insights.
- Prepare research notes, opportunity assessments, competitor analyses, and business cases.
- Support evaluation of new business ideas, products, services, partnerships, and expansion opportunities.

3. Special Projects

- Take ownership of high-priority projects assigned directly by the Founder.
- Work cross-functionally with teams across strategy, marketing, sales, operations, technology, finance, and HR.
- Drive projects from idea → planning → execution → reporting → closure.
- Build processes and systems where none exists.
- Handle time-sensitive and high-importance assignments with discretion and urgency.

4. Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with senior internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Founder.

- Ensure timely follow-ups and communication across different teams.
- Participate in meetings, capture key decisions and action points, and drive subsequent execution.
- Build strong working relationships across the organisation.

5. Founder Support

- Help the Founder prepare for important meetings, presentations, reviews, and discussions.
- Create meeting briefs and background notes.
- Track commitments and follow-ups emerging from meetings.
- Organise information required for decision-making and ensure the Founder has the right context at the right time.

6. Communication & Content

- Draft and refine emails, presentations, proposals, notes, internal communications, and other business documents.
- Create crisp summaries of complex information.
- Assist in preparing communication for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure high standards of written and verbal communication.

What we are looking for We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

- Exceptional ownership — takes responsibility rather than waiting for instructions.
- Robust problem-solving ability — can break down ambiguous problems into actionable steps.
- Excellent communication skills — particularly written and verbal English.
- Sharp business acumen — understands how businesses operate and thinks beyond individual tasks.
- Strong execution skills — can move quickly from discussion to action.
- High attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Curiosity and learning agility — comfortable entering unfamiliar domains and figuring things out.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Maturity and discretion when dealing with confidential business information.
- Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities.
- A bias for action and a "figure it out" mindset.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:
- Founder’s Office
- Management Consulting
- Business Strategy
- Business Operations

- Investment Banking / Private Equity / Venture Capital
- Startup / Entrepreneurship
- Program or Project Management
- Chief of Staff / Executive Office
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Prior experience working directly with founders, CXOs, or senior leadership is strongly preferred.

Skills

Must Have

- Business research and analysis
- Project management and execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- PowerPoint / Google Slides
- Excel / Google Sheets
- Stakeholder management
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills
- Ability to structure information and present it clearly

Good to Have

- Experience with startups or high-growth companies
- Consulting experience
- Digital marketing / communications exposure
- Understanding of AI and emerging technology
- Experience with business dashboards and analytics
- Familiarity with tools such as Notion, ChatGPT/AI tools, project-management platforms, etc.

What Success Looks Like Within the first 6–12 months, the successful candidate should be able to:

- Become a trusted execution partner to the Founder.
- Independently drive important projects with minimal supervision.
- Ensure that key priorities and commitments do not fall through the cracks.
- Provide the Founder with clear, concise, decision-ready information.
- Identify problems before they become bottlenecks.
- Improve the speed and quality of execution across selected initiatives.
- Take ownership of increasingly complex strategic and operational projects.

Why Join?

- Work directly with the Founder and gain first-hand exposure to entrepreneurship and business building.
- Exposure to two businesses operating across different sectors and business models.
- Opportunity to work on strategy as well as execution.
- High learning curve with significant ownership and responsibility.
- Opportunity to work on diverse projects rather than a narrowly defined function.
- Potential to grow into a Chief of Staff, Business Strategy, or leadership role as the organisation grows.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is smart, ambitious, resourceful, and hungry to learn. You may not know the answer to every problem when you start — but you should be the kind of person who says:

“I’ll figure it out.”

If you enjoy working in fast-moving environments, solving problems, interacting with senior leaders, and turning ideas into action, this role could be a great fit.
