About MOSHA HealthMOSHA Health is building a new generation of habit-forming food & beverage products for gut health, combining modern nutrition science with functional ingredients and India’s rich heritage of botanicals.

We are looking for an experienced FMCG Vendor Management & Supply Chain professional who can take ownership of our end-to-end supply chain — from sourcing raw materials and managing manufacturing partners to quality control, finished goods, inventory and dispatch.

This is a highly hands-on role in an early-stage company. We are looking for someone who can build and manage the supply chain, not just coordinate it.

The RoleYou will own the day-to-day management of MOSHA's manufacturing and supply chain ecosystem.

This includes

Raw Material Procurement → Vendor Management → Manufacturing → Quality Control → Packaging → Finished Goods → Inventory → Dispatch → Logistics

You will work closely with third-party manufacturers, raw material suppliers, packaging vendors, logistics partners and internal teams to ensure that products are manufactured on time, at the right quality and at the right cost.

Key Responsibilities1. Third-Party Manufacturing Management

- Identify, evaluate and onboard third-party manufacturers and co-manufacturers
- Manage ongoing relationships with manufacturing partners
- Coordinate production planning and manufacturing schedules
- Ensure production happens as per agreed specifications, quantities, timelines and costs
- Coordinate manufacturing trials, new product development and scale-up
- Track production batches and ensure timely completion
- Resolve manufacturing issues, delays, shortages and other operational bottlenecks
- Negotiate manufacturing terms, MOQs, lead times and commercial terms

Raw Material

Procurement
- Manage sourcing and procurement of raw materials and ingredients
- Identify and develop reliable raw material suppliers
- Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms and lead times
- Track raw material availability and ensure timely procurement for production
- Maintain alternate / backup vendors for critical ingredients
- Monitor raw material price movements and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure raw materials meet approved specifications and quality requirements

Quality

Control &

• Quality Assurance
- Work closely with manufacturers and QC teams to ensure adherence to product specifications
- Establish and monitor quality processes at third-party manufacturing facilities
- Ensure incoming raw materials are tested / approved as required
- Coordinate finished product testing and release
- Review COAs, test reports and other quality documentation
- Coordinate microbial,



heavy metal and other required testing
- Investigate quality deviations, batch failures, customer complaints and manufacturing issues
- Drive corrective and preventive actions with vendors
- Conduct / coordinate vendor and manufacturing facility audits where required
- Ensure consistent quality across production batches

4. Packaging & • Ancillary Procurement
- Manage sourcing and procurement of packaging materials including pouches, bottles, cartons, labels, etc.
- Coordinate packaging development and approvals
- Ensure packaging materials are available ahead of production
- Manage packaging vendors and negotiate commercial terms
- Coordinate artwork / specification changes with relevant vendors and manufacturers
- Monitor packaging inventory and avoid production delays due to shortages

5. Inventory & • Supply Planning
- Maintain visibility on raw material, packaging and finished goods inventory
- Plan procurement based on sales forecasts and production requirements
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimising excess inventory
- Track inventory ageing, expiry and batch-wise stock
- Identify potential stock-outs well in advance
- Coordinate production planning based on inventory and demand
- Maintain accurate supply chain records and MIS

6. Dispatch & • Logistics
- Coordinate finished goods dispatch from manufacturing facilities / warehouses
- Manage logistics partners and transporters
- Ensure orders are dispatched on time and reach the required destination
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues
- Coordinate with warehouses, marketplaces / distributors / D2C operations as required
- Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities for optimisation
- Maintain dispatch and logistics documentation

Vendor

Management &

• Negotiation
- Build strong relationships with manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, packaging vendors and logistics partners
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, lead times and other commercial terms
- Continuously evaluate vendor performance on cost, quality, service and timelines
- Develop alternate vendors to reduce supply risk
- Maintain a structured vendor database and performance tracker
- Ensure vendors meet agreed SLAs and specifications
- Escalate and resolve recurring vendor issues

8. Cost Optimisation
- Identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing, raw material, packaging and logistics costs
- Benchmark vendor pricing
- Negotiate volume-based pricing and improved commercial terms
- Analyse product BOMs and manufacturing costs




- Work with the Founder / Finance team on product-level COGS optimisation
- Continuously look for better suppliers, processes and efficiencies

What We Are Looking ForMust Have
- 5+ years of relevant experience in FMCG manufacturing, procurement, supply chain or vendor management
- Strong experience working with third-party / contract manufacturers OR in-house manufacturing
- Hands-on experience managing the complete manufacturing and supply chain cycle
- Experience with raw material procurement
- Experience managing quality processes and QC
- Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience managing manufacturing timelines, production and dispatch
- Experience with logistics / transportation / warehousing
- Strong understanding of FMCG manufacturing economics and COGS

Industry Experience – Must HaveExperience in one or more of the following categories is essential:

- Biscuits / bakery products
- Ready-to-eat foods
- Ready-to-cook foods

Candidates whose experience is entirely outside food / FMCG / herbal / consumer products manufacturing may not be suitable for this role. Skills & AttributesWe are looking for someone who is:

- Extremely hands-on and execution-oriented
- Strong at vendor negotiation
- Comfortable dealing directly with factory owners, production heads and suppliers
- Commercially sharp and cost-conscious
- Strong at follow-ups and getting things done
- Detail-oriented, particularly around quality and specifications
- Comfortable handling multiple vendors simultaneously
- Good at troubleshooting manufacturing and supply issues
- Able to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
- Strong in Excel / Google Sheets and supply-chain MIS

Most importantly:You should know what actually happens inside a factory. We are not looking for someone who has only managed procurement through spreadsheets or coordinated with vendors through email.

You should be comfortable getting on the phone with a manufacturer, visiting a factory when required, understanding why a batch is delayed, challenging a vendor on quality or pricing, finding an alternate supplier and getting the problem solved.
