Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Firefighter role based in Guraru. The Firefighter will respond to fire alarms and emergency calls, perform fire suppression, rescue, and evacuation operations, and assist in protecting people, property, and assets. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining firefighting equipment, conducting routine safety checks, and participating in fire drills and training exercises.

The role also involves assessing hazards, securing emergency scenes, and providing basic first aid and support until medical professionals arrive. The Firefighter will collaborate closely with other emergency responders, follow established safety protocols,



and complete incident reports and documentation as required.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of firefighting techniques, fire behavior, and emergency response procedures.
- Candidates should possess skills in operating firefighting equipment and tools, including hoses, extinguishers, ladders, and protective gear.
- Candidates should possess the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in high-stress and hazardous environments.
- Candidates should possess basic first aid and CPR skills, with the ability to assist injured individuals until medical help is available.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with other firefighters, emergency services, and the public.
- Candidates should possess strong situational awareness, problem-solving abilities, and sound judgment in emergency situations.
- Completion of recognized firefighter training or certification, and familiarity with local safety regulations, is highly beneficial.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, along with prior experience in firefighting, emergency services, or security, is an advantage.
