Role Description The Finishing Supervisor is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing all finishing works on construction projects to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion. The role involves supervising finishing activities such as plastering, painting, flooring, ceiling, joinery, and other architectural finishes, while coordinating daily tasks with site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.

Supervisor will monitor workmanship and materials against project specifications, conduct regular inspections, and report progress, issues, and risks to project management.



Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing work plans, tracking progress against schedules, resolving site queries, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and supporting quality audits and snagging/rectification activities. The role requires close collaboration with project management, quantity surveying, and quality control teams to deliver high-standard finishes and meet client expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong technical knowledge of finishing works, including plastering, painting, flooring, ceilings, joinery, and related architectural details.
- Experience in site supervision and coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and finishing schedules.
- Proficiency in monitoring work progress, preparing daily/weekly reports, and supporting project planning and scheduling activities.
- Sound understanding of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and snagging/rectification processes.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices applicable to construction sites, and ability to enforce compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide site teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; relevant certifications in site supervision or quality management are an advantage.
- Previous experience as a Finishing Supervisor or in a similar role within large-scale building
