Key Responsibilities

- Ensure timely and accurate GL accounting and closure by the finance/accounting - teams across locations. - Drive monthly financial closure, including review of provisions, accruals, - reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules. - Review and ensure timely completion of intercompany reconciliations and - confirmations. - Coordinate and facilitate internal audits, statutory audits, and other financial - reviews. - Ensure timely preparation and quarterly publishing of financial statements and - management reports. - Establish and monitor appropriate accounting controls, processes, and compliance - across the organization. - Review financial accounting and reporting for accuracy, completeness, and - adherence to applicable accounting standards. - Work closely with business, finance, tax, treasury, and other stakeholders to - resolve accounting and reporting issues.



- Lead and mentor the accounting team and ensure clear accountability for timely - deliverables. - Support the CFO & Management with reporting, controls, and other strategic - finance initiatives. - Ensure that all statutory dues are filed on timely basis.

Desired Profile

- CA with relevant experience in financial controllership. - Typically, 5 to 8+ years of experience, preferably in a large-scale retail, jewellery, - FMCG, or multi-location organization. - Robust experience in GL accounting, month-end closure, financial reporting, - audits, reconciliations, and internal controls. - Experience in managing teams. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management - skills. - Experience with ERP systems and large-volume transaction environments will be preferred.
