Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Support Engineer role based in Hyderabad.

The Field Support

Engineer will provide technical support to retail customers using Nukkad Shops’ commerce platform, including in office installation, configuration, and basic training. The role includes diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and coordinating with internal engineering teams to resolve complex problems.

Engineer will respond to support requests, manage tickets, document issues and resolutions, and ensure timely updates to customers. The position also involves building strong customer relationships,



gathering feedback on product performance, and sharing insights to help improve the platform and overall customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills, with experience diagnosing hardware, software, or network issues.
- Proficiency with operating systems commonly used in retail or POS environments (Android, Windows, etc.).
- Customer support and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over phone or chat.
- Ability to work on-site at customer locations in Hyderabad and nearby areas, including occasional travel as needed.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and device connectivity (Wi-Fi, routers, peripherals) is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and capability to document issues and solutions accurately.
- Prior experience in field engineering, technical support, or POS/retail technology is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
