Role Description The Field Supervisor – Drone Spraying is a full-time, in office role based in Pune City. This role is responsible for overseeing drone-based spraying operations in agricultural fields and other designated locations, ensuring safe and efficient execution according to company protocols and client requirements. Daily tasks include coordinating field schedules, supervising drone pilots and ground staff, conducting pre-flight and post-flight checks, and monitoring equipment performance.

The Field

Supervisor will interact with farmers and clients to explain drone spraying processes, collect feedback,



and document operational data for reporting and analysis. The role also involves ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations, troubleshooting field issues, training team members on best practices, and collaborating with internal technical teams to improve spraying procedures and workflows.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of field operations, including supervision of on-site activities, team coordination, and basic project planning.
- Familiarity with drone technology or willingness to learn UAV operations, especially for agricultural spraying and related applications.
- Understanding of agricultural practices and crop protection methods, including safe handling and application of agrochemicals.
- Ability to follow and enforce safety protocols, regulatory guidelines, and standard operating procedures in field environments.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with farmers, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Basic technical aptitude for conducting equipment inspections, identifying operational issues, and supporting troubleshooting activities.
- Good organizational and documentation skills for maintaining logs, preparing reports, and tracking daily operations.
- Capability to work in outdoor conditions, travel to field locations as required, and manage time-sensitive tasks.
- Prior experience in field supervision, agriculture operations, or drone services is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in agriculture, engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
