Role Description The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operation, maintenance, and safety of commercial and residential properties in Ahmedabad. This full time, on-site role includes supervising facility staff and vendors, coordinating repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance, and ensuring all building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, security) function efficiently.

The Facility

Manager will manage budgets, track facility-related expenses, and support compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies. The role involves regular site walks, addressing tenant and vendor management, optimizing space utilization,



and contributing to continuous improvement of facility processes and service quality.

Qualifications

- Facilities operations and building maintenance skills, including knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Experience in vendor and contractor management, including negotiation, performance monitoring, and service-level compliance.
- Strong skills in health, safety, and environmental compliance, with familiarity with local building codes and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and basic facilities-related financial reporting.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks across sites.
- Hands-on experience in facilities or property management, preferably in residential or commercial real estate.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Property Management, or a related field.
- Comfort with using facility management software, spreadsheets, and basic office productivity tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, including occasional extended hours as operational needs require.
