Role Description The Experienced Solar EPC Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for end-to-end design of solar power projects, including system sizing, PV layout development, and detailed electrical design for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing site data, preparing single-line diagrams, designing DC and AC systems, selecting components, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and codes.

The engineer will coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and installation teams to validate designs, optimize costs, and support project execution.



The role also involves preparing technical documentation, performing performance simulations, and contributing to continuous design improvement and quality assurance.

Qualifications

- Robust expertise in the solar industry with hands-on experience in solar power and solar systems.
- Proficiency in PV design, including system sizing, layout planning, and performance analysis.
- Solid background in electrical design for solar EPC projects, including DC/AC systems and protection schemes.
- Experience with relevant design and simulation software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, ETAP or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of applicable standards, codes, and regulatory requirements for solar installations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and design accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Prior experience in EPC projects and on-site coordination is highly beneficial.
