Role Description The Estimation & Tendering Executive will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for MEP projects, with a focus on HVAC, electrical, fire-fighting, plumbing, and related systems. Day-to-day duties include reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting quantity take-offs, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers for pricing, and compiling technical and commercial bid documents. The role involves collaborating with engineering, projects, and procurement teams to clarify scope,



validate assumptions, and ensure that proposals align with client requirements and company standards.

The executive will track tender opportunities, support pre-bid queries, participate in bid evaluations, and maintain organized records of estimates and submissions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in project estimation, quantity take-off, and cost analysis for MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting).
- Proficiency in tender preparation, bid documentation, and commercial proposal development for turnkey contracts.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documents for accurate scope definition.
- Experience coordinating with vendors and manufacturers for technical details and competitive pricing.
- Valuable knowledge of MEP industry standards, codes, and compliance requirements, including EHS and quality processes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and MS Office skills; familiarity with estimation or ERP software is an advantage.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline; prior experience in MEP estimation/tendering preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tender submissions simultaneously.
