About the role

Execute client trades in cash and derivatives on NSE/BSE with accuracy and discipline, manage risk and settlement through the session, and work alongside our research and advisory teams so every execution reflects the client's mandate.

Key responsibilities

• Punch and manage buy/sell orders on NSE/BSE terminals (ODIN / NEST / NOW / broker OMS) with zero-error discipline on scrip, quantity, price and order type

• Handle limit, market, GTT, bracket, basket and after-market orders as per client instruction

• Monitor client exposure, margin utilisation, MTM and peak margin obligations through the trading session; escalate shortfalls before they become breaches

• Coordinate delivery obligations, pay-in/pay-out, auction and short-delivery cases with the operations desk

• Complete end-of-day trade confirmation and reconciliation — trade file vs terminal vs client instruction

• Keep clients updated proactively on fills, partial executions and rejections; resolve trade queries within TAT

• Maintain auditable records of every instruction and operate within SEBI, NSE,



BSE and internal compliance norms, including the firm's PIT code and Chinese-wall protocols

• Track corporate actions, F&O; expiry and ban-period lists, results calendar and surveillance (ASM/GSM) lists

Requirements

- Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline
- NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) certification — mandatory, or clearable within 60 days of joining
- 1–5 years of hands-on experience executing trades on a live NSE/BSE terminal
- Robust numerical and analytical ability; comfort reading margin files, option chains and contract notes
- Proficiency in MS Excel and digital trading platforms
- High ethical standards and composure under market pressure

Preferred

- NISM Series VII (SORM), Series I or Series XV
- NCFM / CFA Level I / MBA (Finance) / CFP
- Experience on a full-service broking, wealth advisory or HNI/PCG dealing desk
- Working knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi alongside English
