Job Summary

We are looking for a Mandarin-speaking Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator to support our SMT and FATP manufacturing operations. The role will primarily involve Mandarin Chinese–English communication and translation between Taiwan-based engineering teams and the India manufacturing team, along with coordination and support of manufacturing activities on the shop floor.

The candidate will act as a communication bridge between Chinese-speaking stakeholders and local teams, ensuring that technical instructions, manufacturing requirements, process changes, production issues, and engineering discussions are accurately communicated and understood.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a Mandarin Chinese–English communication bridge between Taiwan-based engineering teams and the India manufacturing organization.
- Translate and interpret technical, engineering, manufacturing, and operational discussions between Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Support communication between Taiwan engineering teams and local Production, Engineering, Quality, and R&D; teams.
- Provide Mandarin interpretation during production meetings, engineering reviews, process discussions, NPI activities, and shop-floor activities.
- Translate manufacturing-related documents, work instructions, SOPs, process specifications, technical reports, and engineering communications.
- Ensure technical instructions received from Taiwan teams are clearly communicated to the India manufacturing team.
- Support Taiwan engineers during visits to the India manufacturing facility by providing on-site Mandarin interpretation and coordination support.
- Assist in communicating production issues, process deviations, quality concerns,



and engineering requirements between Chinese-speaking and English-speaking teams.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure timely implementation of process changes and corrective actions.
- Support SMT and FATP manufacturing activities, including process reviews, production follow-up, and issue resolution.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by facilitating communication, documentation, and coordination between India and Taiwan teams.
- Participate in root cause analysis, corrective action discussions, and production issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of technical discussions, action items, process changes, and follow-ups.
- Ensure translated technical information retains the correct engineering terminology and intended meaning.
- Perform other manufacturing coordination and engineering support activities as required.

Qualifications

- Any Bachelor's Degree / Graduation from a recognized university or institution.
- 1–10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, engineering, electronics manufacturing, EMS, production, technical coordination, translation, or a related field.
- Mandatory: Strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Ability to speak, read, write, translate, and interpret Mandarin Chinese in a professional and manufacturing setting.
- Experience in technical translation or interpretation is highly preferred.
- Knowledge or experience in SMT, FATP, electronics manufacturing, assembly, or production operations is preferred.




- Candidates with experience working with Taiwanese or Chinese engineering/manufacturing teams will be preferred.

- Ability to work closely with Chinese-speaking engineers and local manufacturing teams.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and spend time on the production floor.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with Taiwanese / Chinese manufacturing or engineering teams.
- Experience in an EMS, electronics, networking, semiconductor, or contract manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience as a Mandarin Translator, Technical Translator, Manufacturing Coordinator, Engineering Coordinator, or Manufacturing Engineer.
- Familiarity with NPI, SOP, CAPA, root cause analysis, PFMEA, and engineering change processes.
- Ability to understand manufacturing terminology and technical documentation in Mandarin and English.
