? WE ARE HIRING | ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – SOLAR (BACKEND) ☀️

Vefes Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Backend / Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have experience in Solar Industry, Net Metering, STOA applications, electricity bill analysis, and backend project coordination.

? Location: Mumbai

? Experience: 1–3 Years

? Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month

? Key Responsibilities

- Handle Net Metering applications for Rooftop Solar projects and coordinate with relevant authorities / DISCOMs.
- Prepare and coordinate STOA (Short-Term Open Access) applications and related documentation.
- Conduct electricity bill analysis to understand consumption, sanctioned load, tariff, demand and solar feasibility.
- Support solar plant capacity calculations and system sizing based on client requirements and electricity consumption.
- Prepare and maintain backend technical documentation, applications, reports and project records.
- Coordinate with DISCOMs, consultants,



clients and internal Design / Project / Sales teams for approvals and technical requirements.
- Review technical documents, drawings, SLDs, BOQ/BOM and site survey reports.
- Assist in preparation of technical and techno-commercial proposals for solar projects.
- Track application status, approvals, submissions and required documents.
- Support the Project and Sales teams with technical calculations and electrical inputs.
- Maintain proper records of project-related applications, correspondence and approvals.

? Required Skills

✅ Solar Industry experience preferred

✅ Knowledge of Net Metering process & documentation

✅ Knowledge of STOA / Open Access applications

✅ Good understanding of Electricity Bill Analysis

✅ Basic knowledge of Solar PV systems

✅ Understanding of SLD and electrical drawings

✅ Good MS Excel skills

✅ Strong documentation and backend coordination skills

✅ Valuable communication and follow-up skills

✅ Ability to coordinate with DISCOMs and internal teams

? Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualification.
