Position: Electrical Development Engineer

Location: VTIPL (Recent Delhi, Vadodara, Hyderabad)

Time: 11:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Department: Engineering / Development

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (required)
- Master’s degree in Power Systems / High Voltage / Electrical Machines (preferred)

Core Technical Competencies:

Transformer Electrical Design:

5–15+ years of experience in electrical design of distribution & power transformersCore Technical Competencies:

Transformer Electrical Design:

- Relevant experience in electrical design of distribution & power transformers

Analytical and Automation Tools:

- Transformer
- Hands-on experience with transformer transient analysis tools (e.g., VLN, EMTP-RV, Pulse etc.)
- Field Distribution Analysis:
- Experience with Finite Element Method (FEM) tools for:




- Electric field and leakage field analysis
- Insulation strength verification and high-voltage design validation
- Tools: Ansys Maxwell, COMSOL Multiphysics, or similar
- Skilled in short-circuit simulation for various fault scenarios
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
- Complex formulae
- VBA macros
- Automated design/calculation templates

- Other Skills & Attributes:
- Understanding of international standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc.)
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to interpret customer specifications and collaborate cross-functionally
- Exposure to testing, commissioning, or field troubleshooting (a plus)
