Role Description This is a full-time, in office Electrical Design Engineer role based in Mysore.

The Electrical Design

Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for building projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems, in alignment with project requirements and relevant codes. The role includes preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and load calculations, coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams,



and supporting BIM and digital twin integration for electrical systems. The engineer will participate in design reviews, resolve technical issues, and provide support during construction, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.

The position also involves collaborating with project managers and clients, ensuring designs meet performance, sustainability, and safety standards while adhering to schedule and budget.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for building systems.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Power Distribution design, including load calculations and system layout.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC or local equivalents).
- Experience with CAD/BIM tools for electrical design (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical documentation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in building services or MEP design is preferred.
