Role Description The DY Manager Production – Rim Manufacturing is a full-time, on-site role based at Carrier Wheels Pvt. Ltd. in Faridabad. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day rim manufacturing operations, including planning and scheduling production, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and meeting output and efficiency targets.

This position involves monitoring production lines, coordinating with maintenance and quality teams, optimizing processes, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.



The DY Manager will manage and guide shop-floor teams, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate production documentation and reports. Collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and R&D; teams is expected to support new product introductions and process enhancements.

Qualifications

- Strong production management skills in a manufacturing environment, including line supervision, workflow planning, and resource allocation.
- Experience with rim or steel wheel manufacturing processes, such as forming, welding, painting, and assembly.
- Knowledge of quality systems and tools (e.g., ISO standards, SPC, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions).
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and productivity enhancement techniques.
- Proficiency in using production-related software or ERP systems for planning, reporting, and data analysis.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate production staff.
- Understanding of industrial safety practices and regulatory compliance in a heavy manufacturing setup.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or a related field; prior experience in automotive or component manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced, target-driven environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
