About GutIQ™

GutIQ™ is building a new model of care for chronic gut and metabolic health - one that looks beyond isolated symptoms to understand the interconnected systems driving them.

Our PURO practice works with clients across India and globally through deeply personalized, longitudinal care. We combine conventional medicine with nutrition, gut microbiome science and functional/integrative approaches where appropriate.

We're growing our clinical team and looking for doctors who want to practice medicine with curiosity, depth and context.

The role

This is not a high-volume teleconsultation role.

You will work longitudinally with a smaller panel of clients, understand their history in depth, investigate patterns across symptoms, diet, lifestyle, medications and investigations, and help build and continuously adapt their care plans.

You'll also participate in clinical case discussions, research and the continued development of GutIQ's clinical protocols.

What you'll do

- Own and manage a panel of PURO clients through their programme
- Conduct detailed clinical consultations and follow-ups
- Review medical histories, investigations, medications and symptom patterns
- Develop individualized care plans within GutIQ's clinical framework
- Track outcomes and adapt interventions based on response
- Identify red flags and escalate/refer appropriately
- Communicate with clients between appointments as defined by their programme
- Participate in case reviews and clinical discussions with the wider team
- Stay current with emerging evidence in gastroenterology, metabolic health, nutrition and the microbiome
- Contribute to improving our clinical protocols as the practice grows

Who we're looking for





You may be

- An MBBS doctor
- A BAMS doctor
- A physician with formal training/exposure to Functional or Integrative Medicine

Your qualification matters. But how you think matters just as much.

- Comfortable thinking across systems rather than treating symptoms in isolation
- Evidence-conscious without being intellectually rigid

This role probably isn't for you if...

You prefer seeing a very high volume of patients with short consultations.

You want rigid protocols that tell you exactly what to do in every situation.

Or you're looking for a role where you can simply finish your appointments and switch off from the patient's broader journey.
