SEO Director – Travelay

Asituj is hiring an experienced SEO Director to lead organic growth for Travelay, our US-based flight-booking and travel brand.

You will own Travelay’s SEO strategy and execution across US and international markets, turning organic visibility into qualified traffic, enquiries, bookings, and revenue. This role combines strategic ownership, hands-on technical expertise, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the SEO roadmap, with clear traffic, conversion, and revenue targets.
- Lead technical SEO, including crawlability,



indexation, site architecture, internal linking, JavaScript rendering, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
- Scale programmatic SEO for routes, destinations, airports, and airlines while preventing thin or duplicate content.
- Own keyword research, competitor analysis, content strategy, and international SEO, including localization and hreflang.
- Build brand authority through digital PR, partnerships, and quality editorial backlinks.
- Work with developers, content, marketing, and UX teams to improve search visibility and booking conversions.
- Manage SEO specialists and external partners, track performance, and adapt to changes in search and AI-powered discovery.

Requirements

- 8+ years of SEO experience with demonstrated ownership of strategy and execution.
- Proven results growing organic traffic and conversions for large travel, OTA, e-commerce, marketplace, or transactional websites.
- Strong expertise in technical, on-page, off-page, content, programmatic, and international SEO.
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, Tag Manager, Ahrefs/Semrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Strong analytical, communication, project-management, and team-leadership skills.
- Experience with large URL inventories, SEO forecasting, Looker Studio, SQL, or BigQuery is an advantage.
