About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer (Analyst/Scientist) to join our dynamic team remotely. This role is tailored for professionals with a strong background in data analysis, data science, or data engineering who excel at transforming raw data into actionable insights and scalable data pipelines. As a key member of our data team, you will own end-to-end data solutions, collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of experience in data analysis, data science, or data engineering.



Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases are essential. Hands-on expertise with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar is required, along with a solid understanding of building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouses.

Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to translate complex business questions into clear, data-driven insights are crucial. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment and possess a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer at Kake, your responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and workflows that support analytics, reporting, and modeling needs. You will analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business strategies. Building, validating, and maintaining statistical or machine learning models will be a core part of your role, helping to solve complex business problems.
