Job Title: Senior Microsoft Fabric Developer/ Senior Data Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Fabric Developer with strong hands-on experience in building modern data platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable data solutions using Fabric and Azure data services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Engineering & Development

- Design and build data solutions using:
- Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake in Fabric
- Fabric Data Pipelines and Dataflows Gen2
- Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using:
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Databricks
- Implement transformations using PySpark / Python notebooks

- Data Modeling & Architecture Implementation

- Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold layers)
- Develop optimized data models (star/snowflake schemas)
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance
- Work with architects to align with data governance and standards

- Power BI Development





- Build and optimize Power BI semantic models using Power BI
- Implement:
- Row-Level Security (RLS)
- Incremental refresh
- Aggregations and performance tuning
- Create reusable datasets and dashboards for business users

- Modernization & Migration

- Contribute to migration initiatives:
- SSIS ? Fabric
- ADF / Synapse ? Fabric Pipelines
- On-prem SQL ? OneLake
- Refactor legacy pipelines into modern Fabric-based solutions

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (1 year)
- Expertise in PySpark, SQL, and Python
- Experience with Azure data ecosystem tools
- Solid understanding of:
- Data warehousing concepts
- Lakehouse architecture
- ETL/ELT design patterns

Positive to Have

- Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience working in large-scale data platforms
- Microsoft certifications (Fabric / Azure)
