About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst Healthcare (Azure Databricks) with 8+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics, data profiling, source-to-target mapping, and contemporary cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in healthcare claims data, advanced SQL development, Azure Databricks, and business data analysis. This role will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, data engineering teams, analytics teams, and AI/ML initiatives to ensure delivery of high-quality, analysis-ready datasets.

What You'll Do:

- Perform detailed data profiling and analysis of complex healthcare datasets including claims, member, provider, dental, vision, and financial data.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documents for data migration and transformation initiatives.
- Define business rules, data definitions, transformation logic, and data quality standards.
- Identify data anomalies, inconsistencies, and trends and work with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Support data lineage, metadata management, and business glossary creation initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with business users, SMEs, product owners, and analytics teams to gather and clarify requirements.
- Translate business requirements into actionable data analysis and reporting solutions.
- Act as a liaison between business, data engineering, and data science teams.
- Drive data intake and onboarding processes for current data sources and business requirements.
- Facilitate requirement workshops and data validation sessions with stakeholders.
- Develop, optimize, and validate complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Work with Azure Databricks, Spark SQL, and cloud-based data platforms to process large-scale datasets.
- Validate data pipelines and transformation logic developed by engineering teams.
- Support data quality checks, reconciliation processes, and data certification efforts.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient data solutions.




- Analyze healthcare claims data and ensure proper implementation of business rules and compliance requirements.
- Support initiatives involving claims, provider, member enrollment, financial, vision, and dental datasets.
- Validate healthcare-specific business logic and data transformation requirements.
- Assist stakeholders in interpreting complex healthcare data structures and relationships.
- Develop and execute data validation frameworks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Establish reconciliation processes and quality monitoring mechanisms.
- Drive governance initiatives related to data standards, lineage, and compliance.
- Ensure business-ready and analysis-ready datasets for reporting, forecasting, and AI/ML initiatives.
- Support implementation of data engineering best practices, automation, monitoring, and governance standards.

Expertise you will bring:

- 8+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Warehousing, or Healthcare Analytics.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Strong expertise in advanced SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with Spark SQL, Delta Lake, and large-scale distributed data processing platforms.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure and Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience in data modeling, dimensional modeling, and analytical data structures.
- Ability to validate complex data transformation and engineering workflows.
- Strong experience working with healthcare claims data and related business processes.
- Knowledge of provider, member, enrollment, financial, vision, and dental datasets.
- Understanding of healthcare business rules, data standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience supporting healthcare analytics, forecasting,



and operational reporting initiatives.
- Expertise in data profiling, root cause analysis, and data validation.
- Strong experience creating Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documentation.
- Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and drive clarity across business and technical teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience defining business rules and data transformation specifications.
