Role Description The Data Analyst role at Freight Buzz is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru. The person in this role will collect, clean, and analyze freight and logistics data to generate insights that support business decisions, content strategies, and audience engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include building dashboards and reports, performing statistical analyses, and supporting data-driven initiatives across editorial, marketing, and operations teams.

Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define data requirements, interpret trends, and present findings in clear, accessible formats.



This role also involves maintaining data quality standards and recommending process improvements based on analytical outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and proven experience in Data Analytics.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Statistics and experience applying statistical methods to real-world datasets.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Data Modeling and working with relational or analytical data structures.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python or R) and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment in Bengaluru, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in freight, logistics, transportation, or media/analytics domains is an advantage.
