We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in Gaya, Bihar, and contribute to building and implementing a data-driven governance model for the Government of Bihar.

The role offers an chance to work closely with government stakeholders and transform data into actionable insights for better planning, monitoring, decision-making, and public service delivery.

? Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, validate, and analyse datasets from multiple government sources.
- Develop dashboards, MIS reports, KPIs, and data visualisations for governance monitoring.
- Identify trends, gaps, anomalies, and actionable insights from administrative data.
- Support departments/district administration in data-driven decision-making.
- Build and maintain automated reporting and analytical workflows.
- Work with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into analytical outputs.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and timely reporting.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a simple and meaningful manner.
- Support the development of district/state-level governance performance indicators.

? Required Skills




- 2–3 years of experience in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence / MIS / Consulting.
- Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel.
- Good hands-on experience with SQL.
- Experience with Power BI / Tableau or similar BI tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with large and diverse datasets.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Willingness to work closely with government departments and field teams.

⭐ Good to Have
- Experience in government projects / public policy / development sector / consulting.
- Exposure to data-driven governance, monitoring & evaluation, or e-governance.
- Knowledge of Python/R for data analysis.
- Experience working with district/state-level administrative datasets.
