Roles and Responsibilities

Mindstix is looking for an experienced Data & AI Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade data and AI solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in data architecture, cloud platforms, AI/ML, Generative AI, and enterprise solution architecture, along with strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills.

As a Data & AI Architect, you will be responsible for:

- Design and define enterprise data and AI architecture across cloud platforms, data platforms, business applications, and AI solutions.
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms and pipelines supporting analytics, AI/ML, and business intelligence use cases.
- Design and implement modern data architectures including data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouse architectures, data platforms, and real-time data processing.
- Define and implement AI/ML solutions using Python, machine learning frameworks, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and related AI technologies.
- Architect and implement Generative AI solutions including RAG, vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
- Design AI integrations with enterprise applications, APIs, business systems, and cloud-native services.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to build scalable data and AI solutions.
- Define data governance, security, privacy, quality, and compliance standards across enterprise data platforms.
- Design data integration pipelines using batch and real-time processing frameworks.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, Data Engineering, DevOps,



and Business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data and AI solutions.
- Lead architecture discussions, perform design reviews, and ensure high-quality technical deliverables.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, tools, and frameworks and recommend suitable solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Drive best practices around MLOps, CI/CD, model deployment, monitoring, and AI solution lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot complex data and AI production issues and implement long-term, scalable solutions.
- Mentor engineers and data/AI teams, conduct technical reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
- Prepare architecture documentation, data flow diagrams, solution designs, technical specifications, and deployment plans.
- Ensure data and AI solutions comply with enterprise security, scalability, performance, and governance standards.

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software/data engineering experience with significant expertise in data and AI architecture.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel to Qatar and UAE based on project and business requirements.
- Strong experience in designing enterprise data architectures and AI/ML solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Extensive experience with data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouse architectures, and modern data engineering practices.
- Strong expertise in Python and experience with data processing and AI/ML frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Hands-on experience with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
- Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, event-driven architecture, and real-time data processing.
- Experience with databases such as SQL, NoSQL,



and cloud-native data stores.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data security, data quality, and privacy.
- Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, and DevOps practices.
- Experience integrating AI and data solutions with enterprise applications and business systems.
- Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
